Daiwa's Analystar Egi-Tako is a high quality Tako Eging rods series. It comes directly from the Japanese market and offers the ideal characteristics to best tackle this particular octopus fishing technique. The Analystar Egi-Tako excels in ease of handling lures and ability to track the ground, thanks to the flexible tip that allows for extreme sensitivity. At the same time, the rod produced with X45 technology gives great strength and solidity in the retrieve phase even of big octopuses. The difference between the two models, in addition to the length, is that the S-185 is slightly more "parabolic" in action, while the MH-175 is stiffer at the tip.
