BG MQ ARK

Daiwa's BG MQ ARK represents the new "ARK" version of the famous BG MQ! This new model is enriched with a round aluminum knob, a different body color with some golden details. Like the BG MQ (Monocoque), the new "ARK" also features a monocoque aluminum body and is extremely light and strong like a Formula One racing car! In terms of application, they are specially designed for Shore Jigging, for Boat Spinning and for all medium/heavy techniques! Thanks to the Monocoque design, the reel body acts as a rigid frame and is distortion-proof, remaining handy and compact at the same time. Compared to most competing reels, the gears are between 20% and 40% larger and also feature wider toothing, which gives the gears longer life with tests that have verified one to three times longer than competitors.

- Alluminium Body: light and incredibly resistant body in aluminum, which allows to obtain resistance and lightness without costs and problems due to the corrosion of other metals;
- ATD Drag: Daiwa's Automatic Tournament Drag uses an improved drag grease that exhibits low viscosity at rest, but becomes more viscous soon after drag operation. This reduces the initial inertia when starting the resistance and, combined with the structural changes of the ATD drag system, a smoother drag is achieved;
- Digigear: the first generation of digitally designed Daiwa gears guarantees a perfect union between transmission gears in ultra-resistant alloy and sprockets in marine bronze for optimized speed, power, durability and smoothness;
- Monocoque Body (MQ): A one-piece frame eliminates the use of the traditional two-piece body and side plate construction. A one-piece body uses a screwed gear plate to house the main gear, reducing flexibility and twisting under load by creating a sealed mechanism. The elimination of the side plate also allowed for a more compact body design. MQ technology not only makes the reels stronger and more sealed, but also more compact.
