Game Type Slow J

Shimano's Game Type Slow J is the new model of this series of rods dedicated to the Slow Jigging technique! In recent years the Slow Jigging technique has evolved and thanks to this model you can control the jig at will, improving the jerking action. This model pursues balance so that the fulcrum of the curve moves to the hand part, so that the load and fatigue of the angler are reduced. The action design allows you to easily manage the jig resistance and correct changes so you can perform very precise movement. The flexion of the joint of the two elements has been carefully studied to obtain the strength and action of a one-piece rod. Based on the slow style, typical of Slow Jigging, which emphasizes the falling action of the metal jig, Shimano has added the ability to comfortably manage various types of action, starting from slow ones up to faster ones, passing through the jerk combinations that skillfully change the speed of the metal jig. The blank features a structure with Hi Power X and Spiral X systems that guarantee sufficient strength and completely suppress unpleasant sensations such as twisting and loss of power. The Full Holding Seat reel seat allows for a perfect grip and excellent stability when holding the reel; furthermore, thanks to the use of the Ci4+ carbon reinforced material, the weight is considerably reduced and sensitivity is improved. The guides are lightweight double footed with a stainless steel frame and SiC ring.
