Daiwa's Airity LT 2023 is the latest generation of the AIRITY family! An extremely light spinning reel that achieves an unprecedented combination of lightness and strength! The new Airity is the lightest spinning reel in Daiwa history with only 145 grams for the LT2000 size! A smooth and light retrieve feel that gives you a sense of unity with the equipment and optimal weight balance. This new generation spinning reel pursues the ability to handle the lure as desired and is composed of a new construction concept composed of four technologies. The concept in question is called AIRDRIVE DESIGN and was inherited from the Exist LT 2022! This new construction concept is based on the complete redesign and improvement of 4 fundamental elements of the reel: rotor, spool, bail and main shaft. These main elements have been developed to make the new Airity incredibly smoother and lighter. While focusing heavily on extreme lightness, Daiwa has not lost sight of the strength of the reel, typical of the reels of the Japanese brand. So the new Airity also inherits another technology, namely the MONOCOQUE BODY in MAGNESIUM, a monocoque body in magnesium that solves the structural problems of spinning reels, suppresses bending and creates an incredible lifting force. In order to ensure waterproof and dustproof, Daiwa's unique waterproof and durable technology, MAGSEALED, is used in the sprocket part and line roller part. In addition, the ATD TYPE-L drag reduces the load on the line and allows you to enjoy the fight in peace. AIRDRIVE ROTOR
A new rotor in Zaion, completely redesigned to offer exceptional smoothness: the new design makes it possible to reduce the weight of the rotor by 16% compared to the previous one and to further lower the degree of inertia in rotation.

AIRDRIVE SPOOL
A new One-Piece ABS Long Cast aluminum spool, even lighter and with a re-shaped skirt, guarantees superior swing quality and greater sensitivity.

AIRDRIVE SHAFT
A redesigned system that guarantees the complete absence of contact between the main shaft and pinion. The latter is now supported at the ends by bearings for even more efficient power transfer to the rotor.

AIRDRIVE BAIL
The new one-piece bail of the Airity has a reduced diameter that allows to limit the weight (33% less than the previous model) while maintaining great strength and solidity. A new angle of inclination has also been studied to further optimize the sliding of the line inside the line roller, which has also been redesigned to maximize smoothness.

ATD TYPE-L
The new ATD-L drag is not only lighter, but also incredibly more sensitive and progressive: it reacts to the initial stress even more gently than the standard ATD and then settles progressively and even more gradually on the brake set. Compared to the standard ATD, the new ATD-L drag maintains a more constant response at the same speed of rotation of the spool.
