Baleine 160FL

APIA's Baleine 160FL represents the new big version of the Baleine 125F which has further evolved with a new internal weight transfer system. In fact, the new Baleine 160FL features APIA's exclusive center of gravity shifting system "Linear Engine (PAT.P)" (designed by APIA product designer Takeshi Kitayama) which improves long-distance casting performance and immediate positioning in fishing. In fact, as soon as the lure touches the water, the weight system returns very quickly and fluidly towards the front with an inclination of approximately 5 degrees, significantly reducing the lateral slipping of the lure. Furthermore, the weights are blocked by a backside magnet (instead of a front one) which ensures stable swimming in any situation, even with strong currents. Its actual movement consists of a swimming that does not generate discomfort for the predator and induces it to attack, with only the linear retrieve of the reel at various speeds. The layer of water in which it moves goes from the surface to about 50cm and it continues to swim in an almost horizontal position, with its head pointing upwards imitating a weakened bait.
