Owner's Kuwahara Tenkara Down is a specific hook for Tenkara fishing. It's distinguished by its long and thick shank, making it suitable for catching larger trout. Like all Owner hooks, it's made with the highest quality materials, featuring a slightly angled point and a "down eye" design (the eye facing downward) that helps prevent fish from being lost during the fight. As per Japanese tradition, it has a barb (it's recommended to remove the barb by pressing it with small pliers to properly perform catch & release, reflecting the modern philosophy of Tenkara fishing).
