Shimano's Calcutta Conquest BFS is a round profile baitcasting reel for Bait Finesse games! Usable for all finesse techniques in fresh water, it's produced with the highest quality materials, combines cutting-edge technical features and an elegant round profile body. Perfect for both finesse Bass Fishing and Native Trout, it's equipped with an MGL Spool III which achieves low inertia by significantly thinning the thickness of the spool. In this way you will be able to obtain a smooth casting sensation, as well as long distance casting and problem-free performance. It's also possible to perform precise casts with a low trajectory, so as to be able to get very light baits into the covers. The Calcutta Conquest BFS features NEW FTB, which expands the range of motion in the braking unit and allows for a wide range of clutch settings, with the minimum setting being brought as close to zero as possible. It also features S3D Cutting Technology which increases the precision of the spool, and Silent Tune which applies light pressure to the bearing that supports the spool to reduce vibrations during high speed rotation, significantly contributing to improving casting performance. All this plus the MGL Spool III and the NEW FTB completely eliminate the elements that inhibit rotation, consistently obtaining long casts that don't get stuck until just before landing in the water.
