The new Currentsniper XR perfectly combines long casting distances, lightness, responsiveness and power to tackle big and aggressive saltwater species such as dentex, amberjack, grouper, and tuna. Selected from Shimano's exclusive JDM line and developed with the contribution of the best Japanese Shore Jigging experts, it features a high modulus carbon blank that includes the exclusive Shimano Spiral X Core and Hi-Power X technologies, as well as Nanopitch, which give it a moderately fast action that increases casting power while offering remarkable sensitivity for precise control when using metal jigs or plugs. They are equipped with Fuji K-Type stainless steel SiC guides, which enhance performance and reduce PE line problems, while the Fuji DPS reel seat, with a double locking nut, ensures a secure fit for all reel sizes. The ergonomic EVA handle provides a safe grip, even when wet, ensuring practical and secure use in any situation. The range includes powers from M to XH, suitable for metal jigs and plugs from approximately 30g to over 100g!

SCREW LOCK JOINT
Exclusive threaded joint system that combines high strength with easy disassembly. Simply rotate the sections to lock them securely, like a screw. To disassemble, turn in the opposite direction to safely and easily unlock the joint.
