Shimano's Dialuna is a series of excellent quality Saltwater Spinning rods! After the great success of the Lunamis, Shimano presents the new Dialuna, which inherit some of the technical characteristics of the superior series. A Shore Casting rod, developed in various lengths and weights, so as to select the perfect model for your needs. It comes directly from the Japanese market and features a high quality design and a technologically advanced carbon construction. In fact, the blank is made up of a Spiral X and Hi Power X structure which allow to obtain an extremely light but at the same time resistant rod. Furthermore, this carbon composition has made it possible to produce a blank that loads progressively during the casting phase, so as to guarantee very long casts. But what most characterizes the Dialuna is its innovative Carbon Monocoque handle called, which consists of a handle with a hollow structure entirely in carbon that combines lightness and extreme sensitivity. All combined with a Ci4+ reel seat and Fuji K-series guides with SiC ring. The new Dialuna series is extremely versatile, ideal for targeting sea bass, but also barracura, bluefish, etc...
SPIRAL X
Spiral X is a construction process that Shimano applies in the construction of rod blanks and which offers the best balance between power and low weight. With the Spiral X Construction process the carbon is spiraled into extremely tight coils both inside and outside the blank, increasing performance and significantly reducing blank twisting.
HI-POWER X
Hi-Power X manufacturing technology includes carbon taping on the outside of the blank in a spiral pattern to increase overall strength. This also improves the stiffness of the blank and completely removes twisting. This process significantly increases casting performance and ensures greater accuracy and greater strength when striking and fighting the fish.
CARBON MONOCOQUE
A handle made of monocoque carbon perfectly integrated with the blank. This advanced design eliminates the need for other materials to wrap around the blank, is extremely lightweight, and offers excellent vibration transfer from blank to hand. When compared to classic handles, the carbon monocoque is up to 10g lighter and increases sensitivity by up to 130%, allowing you to feel every vibration of the lure and the exact moment a fish strikes. The tests carried out have provided excellent results capable of translating into exceptional performance, and the Carbon Monocoque design allows Shimano more options to develop much more sensitive rods for various fishing techniques.
CI4+
Ci4+ is the advanced version of the original CI4. This technologically advanced material is 2.5 times stiffer than CI4 and is used on many of Shimano's top reels to reduce weight. The use of CI4+ for the construction of the bodies and rotors also gives the reels greater rigidity and therefore better efficiency, as occurs with the reel seat of fishing rods.
The indicated power (e.g. 6-28 grams) refers to the weight of plugs that it can handle, while the maximum power (e.g. max. 35 grams) indicates the maximum casting jig weight that can be used.
