Ares's Dreams Masayume Maki is the special "MAKI" version of the Dreams series, top of the range Eging Game rods by Ares. 100% Made in Japan, this special version has been designed for the best casting and darting performance. The development of this model has been supervised by Masaken, who boasts over 45 years of experience in fishing with lures and over 20 years in the world of Eging Game. Inspired by the traditional "hiki-gata" technique, which led to the development of PE and lures (Egi), the darting technique has had a huge development in the modern Eging scene. Following the concept of "tradition and innovation", this special "MAKI" model offers a modern version of this retrieval technique, ensuring maximum performance in terms of casting, sensitivity and bait management. Its unprecedented length of 9'2", combined with a lower positioned reel seat, guarantees an impressive casting distance and improves Egi management. The blank has been produced with an ultra-elastic 40T carbon and ultra-thin 4-axis high-density carbon that has allowed us to obtain an extremely sensitive blank, which allows for maximum sensitivity both when managing the bait and detecting cephalopod attacks. The 4-axis technology, with a higher density and elasticity than classic models, effectively reduces torsional forces, reducing power loss and improving the action of the rod. This leads to greater directionality, energy transmission and allows you to make the most of the potential of the blank. All this translates into advantages in various aspects: casting action, sensitivity, distance, casting precision, reduction of rod vibrations, and better control during retrieve. Obviously it can also be used for classic jerking actions.
