O.S.P.'s DuckBill is a newly designed crankbait that features an integrated body and lip structure. It delivers an extremely wide “wobble and roll” action pushed to the limit, allowing it to avoid obstacles while maintaining a strong presence in the water. Although it follows a straight retrieve path, the lure moves with a wide side-to-side motion, covering a significant distance. The amount of water it displaces is remarkable. The design intentionally sacrifices natural movement in favor of an exaggerated action aimed at triggering aggressive strikes from fish. It adapts well to a wide range of retrieve speeds. At high-speed retrieves, it produces an intense, almost chaotic action. During slow retrieves, it continues to move broadly, pushing water as it advances slowly. Its swimming depth also varies depending on the retrieve style: with fast retrieves, it maintains a depth of about 50 cm below the surface. With slow retrieves, it can dive down to 1 meter. The new DuckBill performs exceptionally well not only in murky water or post-rain conditions but also in clear water and heavily pressured fishing spots, where fish are extremely cautious. It effectively triggers the territorial instincts of predators, provoking strikes even from reluctant fish.
