Foojin'Z 5th GENERATION

APIA's Foojin'Z 5th GENERATION represents the new top of the range from this fantastic Japanese company! The fifth generation of Foojin'Z features the use of latest generation materials that allow you to enter the new world of Seabass rods. The blank combines distance, precision and power thanks to the use of third generation TORAYCA® carbon "M40X" and "T1100G". With the birth of these two materials, the performance of high modulus (M40X) and medium modulus (T1100G) materials has significantly improved. The joint features the "Nano Joint", a new joint system developed by APIA that eliminates tension on the joint, which is the weak point of two-piece rods. Thanks to the use of NANO ALLOY® technology in the joint part, a bend as close as possible to that of a single piece was obtained. Furthermore, the joint is finished with very high precision polishing from 2 to 5 mm to prevent loosening when fishing (do not use joint wax). The grip used is the "APIA Palm Grip", designed so that there is no gap between the palm and the EVA material when gripping. By slightly raising the shape of the top, a perfect grip was achieved! Additionally, the reel seat screw uses a heat-shrink rubber material that transmits extreme sensitivity to your fingertips. The rings used are Fuji SiC-S, for the first and last ring, while Fuji Torzite are used for all intermediate rings. All the advanced materials for the production of the new Foojin'Z 5th GENERATION have allowed an exponential evolution of the rods, never seen in the last 20 years, which will take all Seabass anglers towards unexplored territories.
