High Cut SR

O.S.P.'s High Cut SR is the new SR (Shallow Running) version of this shad-type minnow, very famous for Bass Fishing. Usable with both spinning and bait finesse equipment, the new High Cut SR has been developed not to sink deeper than 1 meter, so as to broaden the range of shad and be able to probe the layer just below the surface. What penalizes shad is casting performance; to overcome this difficulty, a high-density tungsten sphere was used, instead of the usual steel sphere, which makes it approximately 25% smaller in diameter. In this way the weight shifts to the tip of the thin tail, stabilizing the flight posture even in wind and increasing the flight distance. As soon as it touches the water, thanks to the particular shape of the lip and the low center of gravity, it will be possible to perform retrieves, even very fast ones, easily managed with the tip of the rod. In any case it does not flutter, but maintains a tight, fast and highly reactive action and, when jerking, performs balanced left/right oscillating movements. All combined with extreme ease of avoiding obstacles. For probing shallow areas, the new High Cut SR is the perfect choice!
