Fishus by Lurenzo's Ippai is a heavy lure with a shovel, designed to catch big predators with important equipment. It's a lure mainly from the open water. With a very strong 150-pound internal structure, it features a movement that allows free rotation of the central treble hook and swivel during the fight. The Ippai is a lure with a slow and balanced fall similar to that of a jigminnow, perfect for sneaking in tuna and big pelagics during the feeding frenzy. It works best when prey feeds on small fish but pay no attention to lures, unless something slowly falls without moving. It maintains the horizontal line, while its spinning motion makes it look like a small prey that has escaped from attacks in the water. An easy meal that predators won't hesitate to swallow. This slow descent is what makes Ippai a lethal lure in these conditions. The body design and docking allow both to aggressively shake it to move erratically like a distressed prey and to retrieve it very quickly by keeping it underwater. It's capable of working at more than 5 knots of speed while trolling by twinkling and vibrating, with sharp and deflected oscillations that make it easy to target in the open water. Ippai will be our best ally if we fish in deep water where other types of minnows are difficult to use. Once cast it, we can estimate a sink rate of 60cm per second. If we let it reach 2-3 meters before starting the retrieve we will be able to keep it deep even with very aggressive jerks. The range of colors is perfect for great depths, with essential colors for any type of light, water and fish we want to imitate. Perfect for catching Tuna, Learfish, Amberjack, GT, Dorado and Barracuda. Comes with two very strong #1 treble hooks.
