Lates

Megabass’s Lates is a particular lure. It looks like a classic jerk, instead its movement consists of swimming just below the surface, releasing a very natural effect. In situations where the surface of the water is disturbed by the wind, it will further produce a "trembling" movement, attractive to the most active prey. The use will be simple, but with important results. The Lates needs to be retrieved by a middl/slow speed, without jerking. If you retrieve it very slow, the lure will slightly sink, while if you retrieve it fast, the lure will produce its classic movement just under the topwater. His purpose is to imitate a panicking fish. The colours are divided in FW and SW; what changes are the trebles. In fact, in FW colours the trebles are burnish, while in SW colour they're are nickel plated and stronger. It’s perfect for Black Bass, but you can think to use it also for the sea bass.
