Shimano's Lunamis is the new series of saltwater spinning rods arriving directly from the Japanese market. Super light and sensitive, it allows long and precise casts with a weight reduction of up to 10% (15 g) compared to the previous Lunamis series. In order to achieve a significant weight reduction, Shimano has adopted the new Spiral X system which has allowed to obtain a light and powerful blank and a monocoque carbon handle which further reduces weight and increases sensitivity. Thanks to the weight reduction, the sensitivity and the response to the action during the use are also significantly improved. Available in a wide range of models, the new Lunamis will allow a fun approach with maximum precision, lightness and sensitivity. Can be used in various situations, such as ports, lagoons, rivers, rocky coasts and the beach. The casting capacity has been increased thanks to the use of the first guide (the biggest) produced in an original way by Shimano Japan, which reduces the friction and resistance of the braid thanks to the smooth design without corners. All other guides are Fuji with SiC ring and Titanium frame.

The indicated power (e.g. 6-25 grams) refers to the weight of plugs that it manages, while the maximum power (e.g. max. 32 grams), indicates the maximum casting jig weight that can be used.
