Luvias LT

Daiwa's Luvias LT represents the 2020 LT family news! The new Luvias LT features the "Monocoque Body" in Zaion which allowed to maintain a compact body while increasing the size of the control gear by 7% compared to the previous model and decreasing the weight by as much as 25 grams! The rotor is also in Zaion, instead of DS5, and has guaranteed a decrease in weight of 6 grams. The gears have evolved from "Digigear II" to the new "Tough Digigear" which allows you to maintain a silent and regular rotation for a long time. Obviously, also in the new Luvias LT, there is the "Magsealed" system, which consists of a waterproof structure that blocks the entry of water and dust creating a protective wall of magnetic oil in the space between the body and the rotor. Since the body and the rotor do not have contact with each other, rotation performance also improves, making the reel even more fluid. All combined with additional technical features such as the ATD drag (Automatic Tournament Drag) which allows you to control the power of the drag following the hooking and does not give initiative to the fish. The spool has also been improved with the new LC-ABS (Long cast-ABS), which replaces the previous ABS-II, with the aim of reducing the contact resistance and the more uniform release of the braided line. Available in both standard and FC (Finesse Custom) versions, ideal for light techniques such as Bass Fishing, Trout Game and Light Rock Fishing. The body of the FC reels is more compact and lighter than the standard models, also thanks to the use of a handle in light aluminum instead of stainless steel that we find in the standard models and other internal elements to ensure balance and lightness.
