Madaq

Daiwa's Madaq is a shrimp-shaped lure specially designed for the Taco Eging, the octopus fishing. An incredibly effective lure, which combines hard materials (the body) and soft materials (the claws) and features an internal rattle to increase its attractive power. The Madaku, in fact, has a shrimp-shaped hard body with a flat-shaped lead in the front, and two soft claws with a triple hook in the back. Both the rubber claws and the hooks are easily replaceable; in addition, the hooks are "deformable" to facilitate disengagement in the event of a grounding, but at the same time guarantee effectiveness on the hooking. The Madaq has an action that floats in the water with an excellent balance, almost horizontal, and its claws move up and down in a very natural way. The Madaq can be used either alone from the shore, or in combination with other octopus lures for the Tako Egi vertically from the boat.
