Mirage JT161S

Trefle Creation's Mirage JT161S is the new 16.1 cm x 45-gram version of the MIRAGE, the first project by Mr. Iroshi Takahashi! After the great success of the 128 size, Trefle Creation developed this bigger size with the goal of maintaining the unique characteristics that define the Mirage series. The new 161 size also delate the two weak points of sinking swimbaits: casting distance and stability in current. The iconic Pendulum Lock System is used for both joints, perfectly synchronized to position the lure correctly during the casting phase, making the body appear as a single piece, and then releasing as soon as the lure hits the water to immediately begin the swimming action. Equipped with an interchangeable TPE tail (a spare is included in the package), the Mirage JT161S performs a very natural S-shaped swim with a linear reel retrieval, and the horizontally positioned front eyelet enhances its sinuosity. When jerked, it creates a disorienting action with lateral movements while it roll on itself, and during pauses, it slowly sinks like an injured prey. The Mirage JT161S is designed for use in saltwater targeting large Seabass, Barracuda, and Bluefish, but it's also perfect for freshwater use, targeting Pike and large Black Bass!
