Loomis NRX+ draws from more than forty years of technology, innovation, and design to meet the performance demands of today’s avid bass angler. The G.Loomis American-made blanks are rolled with original Shimano Spiral X technology to provide ultra-fast recovery for increased casting distance, heightened sensitivity, and drastic weight reduction. G.Loomis designed the Shimano Custom CI4+ reel seats to maximize an angler's connection to the blank for unsurpassed bite transmission and all-day comfort. Equipped with a hybrid guide train, NRX+ empowers anglers to make long, accurate casts for increased effectiveness on the water. To boost an angler's natural ability, G.Loomis used only the most advanced technologies, construction processes, and componentry to engineer a rod that offers anglers best-in-class performance. JWR:
Extra-Fast action rods specially developed to offer maximum performance in bottom contact techniques. The ultra-fast action blank, in addition to maximum sensitivity on the lure, guarantees powerful and effective hooks when using offset hooks (hook point not exposed) and jig hook (hook tip covered by skirt).

MBR:
Fast acting regular blanks, the term MAG comes from the term magnum, which generate a lot of power and provide excellent fish fighting ability. Longer rear grips (full cork) help provide leverage and balance. They are excellent for a wide variety of applications where a long, sensitive tip and powerful back are required. Compared to the JWR, these shells are also preferred for moving lures (preferably with treble hooks) in addition to standard offset rigs.
