G.Loomis's NRX+ Inshore Spinning is the Saltwater version of the new NRX+, the new series of rods that has been completely redefined with further development by the company that has been innovating technologies and designs for over forty years to meet the needs of the most experienced coastal fishermen! This new NRX+ blank, American-made, is assembled with Spiral-X technology which has allowed a notable increase in handling during use, providing faster performance thanks to a greater increase in sensitivity, a further optimization of casting capabilities, all accompanied by a drastic reduction in weight! It has been coupled with the innovative original Shimano Ci4+ reel seat, customized and handmade, which gives excellent "comfort" during long fishing sessions and maximizes the connection with the blank during use, transmitting in an unsurpassed manner even the fish touch and eat them more timidly. The Fuji Titanium SiC ringing completes a perfect match between the parts, thanks to its lightness, resistance to corrosion and robustness, it allows excellent use and smoothness of the braided line (PE) providing the possibility of casting at a greater distance, thanks to the excellent sliding of the line and greater sensitivity of contact and management of the lure. TECHNICAL FEATURES
SPIRAL-X
SHIMANO's Spiral-X technology consists of a triple-layer blank construction, consisting of a core of oblique fiber, a middle layer of longitudinal fiber and an outer layer of reverse oblique fibers that form the X-shaped visual effect. This construction allows to increase rigidity without increasing weight, providing instant power transmission during casting and fighting fish. Thanks to the innovative Spiral X construction with three overlapping layers systematically arranged in an almost perfect manner, it was possible to reduce the weight, obtaining greater torsional rigidity, resulting in very strong rods.
MULTI-TAPER DESIGN
This concept consists in the creation of shells with a high taper thanks to a series of MICRO-TAPERS, inserted during construction. This process expressly G.Loomis allows you to use more material in the "potential" breaking points of the barrel and reduce it in the other points. To achieve this process, a customized assembly was created which to date is the only one present in the world! Thanks to this technology, rods with well-defined actions have come to life, with a perfect balance between durability and performance.
CI4+ CUSTOM REEL SEAT
The Ci4+ is the most advanced version of the Ci4, a much lighter carbon fiber reinforced material, with superior strength and resistance to the classic conventional reel seat. The Ci4+ is 2.5 times more rigid than the previous one and its use has further benefited sensitivity and weight reduction by offering a firm, reinforced positioning of the reel and improved rod efficiency.
