Pulsecod Jr.

Deps's Pulsecod Jr. is the small version of the famous Pulsecod popper. The front part is very wide but not as deep as many other poppers, this means that during the feeding the popper moves more water making a great sound on the surface and its movement is straight. This facial feature gives you another advantage. The Pulsecod inside has an empty channel that starts from the front and ends at the back. Inside this a spring has been built with a weight in the upper part. When the popper is retrieved, the frontal impact with the water creates a pressure that causes the spring to react. This reaction causes the weight to hit the structure of the duct and the vibrations flow on it. Another important part of the Pulsecod is the fether hook that is its skirt on the tail treble hook initially very short and thick and then lengthening and decreasing in filaments. Needless to say, the treble hooks are beyond belief. In this case the casting parallel to the shore are for us, the fish are tired due to the energy used in cleaning the nest, depositing, hunting intruders, guarding the fry so it will look for easy prey without having to run too much! The Pulsecod is for us, it allows us to make a prolonged stop and go but keeping the lure alive thanks to its vibrations! In this case our casting will also be in open water where the Pulsecod easily reaches very high distances! Here we can indulge ourselves with different types of retrieve from go go to stop and go and another recommended method is to try to slowly retrieve the lure without sucking! The latter will look like a mouse on the surface with its final wagging fether hook. This retrieving straight by straight is also to be tried immediately after feedings for a few centimeters (30-40) and creates the aggressive instinct even on those wary fish that see their prey running away from above their heads!
