Saltiga 2020

Daiwa's Saltiga 2020 represents the new reel series that made many fishermen's dreams come true! The new Saltiga 2020 arrives on the market with the introduction of the MQ body (Monocoque Body) and a new cosmetic. The aluminum "Monocoque Body" made it possible to bring the new Saltiga 2020 to a new level, doubling the resistance of the gears with an increase of 12% compared to the 2015 Saltiga. The larger diameter and the additional thickness allowed to reduce wear, torsion and deformation. The "Air Rotor" rotor was produced in aluminum with a stiffness of 200% higher than the previous model which was produced in Zaion. Obviously, the new Saltiga 2020, presents the Magsealed system that allows complete protection from water, dust and sand, thus making it waterproof. This system has also been adopted for the bearings of both the line roller and on the sides of the main gear. Finally, the clutch has also been improved, with 14 disks instead of 6 of the previous model and an aluminum clutch cap larger than 42% which prevents overheating of the drag, allows to maintain a stable action and greater ease of adjustment .
