Sephia BB Rod

Shimano's Sephia BB Rod is a mid-range rod for the eging game! Designed for cephalopod fishing by the Japanese experts Shimano, it's exceptionally light with a moderate-fast action given by a Hi-Power X Carbon blank and has a very sensitive tip. Perfect to be combined with the Sephia BB reel for an extraordinary combination, it's long and powerful to cast Egi at excellent distances, while maintaining a soft tip to best animate the lures and warn the touches. Despite the impressive casting characteristics, in line with all high performance EGI rods, the Sephia BB has a moderate-fast action combined with a sensitive tip and progressive center section, offering the perfect blend of bite detection and strikes To further enhance the casting performance and action of the rod, lightweight Fuji Alconite K-type guides were chosen for their anti-tangle characteristics. Featuring a custom designed Shimano reel seat and split EVA handle, the performance and red/black graphics are a perfect match to the Sephia BB reel.
