SGS8 FD

Savage Gear's SGS8 FD is a series of reels specifically designed to tackle the harsh environments of saltwater fishing. The SGS8, in fact, is a saltwater resistant reel and has withstood 500 hours of testing with continuous splashes thanks to its SW500 coating. The steel ball bearings and friction system are also sealed and resistant to salt water to ensure safe and continuous use. The body is made of light and resistant aluminum and the rotor is made of carbon-reinforced composite. The drag system is the "Friction Control System 3" which houses washers made with a three-layer design: a layer of fiberglass with a layer of carbon fiber on both sides. This gives the washers unmatched stiffness which results in an ultra-progressive and powerful drag.
