Shimano's SLX DC is designed for effortless casting, whatever the conditions. The DC braking system means: this reel has a real "brain". The DC system calculates 1000 times a second what is the right braking force, in order to prevent wigs and at the same time optimize the distance and accuracy of the throw. It makes fishing with a very simple and effortless rotating reel. There is no need to change the coil settings when the time or the bait changes: the DC system will do it for you. This results in a more efficient and relaxed fishing action for the fisherman.
