Shimano's Stradic SW is a high quality reel specifically for saltwater fishing! Infinity Drive significantly reduces the sliding resistance of the main shaft, previously supported by a pinion, with a special low-friction bushing. Additionally, a special surface treatment is applied to the main shaft to reduce rotational torque, resulting in a structure that allows for powerful winding even under high loads. The Stradic SW's coiling power, which does not falter even against big prey, will lead you to victory in a daring battle. The X-Shield uses a strong seal everywhere, including the joint surfaces of the body and cap, the contact points of the spool and the handle to block the paths of water intrusion and ensure high reliability and durability. In addition, the X-Protect contact waterproof mechanism is used for the bearing and line roller parts, which require higher waterproof performance. By using special grease and physically cutting off the seawater intrusion path with a sealing element, the waterproof performance is high, while suppressing rotation resistance.
