Stradic SW-B

Shimano's Stradic SW-B is the new version of the famous STRADIC designed for saltwater fishing! Durability, power, waterproofing this reel combines technical features and reliability for top-level performance in extreme fishing conditions. To bravely face the extreme challenges at saltwater, the new Stradic SW-B is equipped with an extremely robust waterproof structure, featuring X-Shield (except for the 4000 model) and X-Protect, which reduce saltwater intrusion. This prevents the deterioration of metal components and the corrosion of the internal structure, maintaining initial performance, such as smooth rotation, over time. Additionally, the drive system is equipped with Infinity Drive and HAGANE Gear, and the CI4+ round handle knob provides powerful support during fights. With power and robustness that remain unyielding even in the face of big fish, it ensures safe battles. Furthermore, the 5000 and larger models are equipped with X-Tough Drag, which not only increases the max drag power but also improves durability and heat dissipation. All of this ensures the ability to face the harsh marine environment with strength and no weak points, achieving superior specifications, and they are designed to use heavy lures and tackle large fish. Moreover, the 5000 and 6000 models eliminate the automatic bail return system, reducing issues during casting. This new model also introduces the 4000 size, based on the Stradic FM, enhanced with Infinity Cross, Infinity Drive, and Anti-Twist Fin to improve gear durability and reduce braided line issues.
