Daiwa's Tenkara Taper Line is a nylon monofilament tapered line, designed to combine the lightness of a Level Line with the ease of casting typical of Tapered Lines. This tapered nylon easily adjusts to the length of the Tenkara rod (you can shorten the line from the "straight" part to adapt it to the length needed during fishing action), and the high-visibility yellow color helps monitor the line easily during casting and fishing. The Tenkara Taper Line consists of a "harris" section of 1 meter at #0.8 (0.148mm), a "taper" section of 3 meters ranging from #0.8 (0.148mm) to #4 (0.330mm), and a "straight" section at #4 (0.330mm).
