Tobizo TC77 TUNA "Monster Buster"

Zenaq's Tobizo TC77 TUNA "Monster Buster" is a Tobizo exclusive for Giant Tunas over 200kg! In 1998 Zenaq released the "Monster Buster" for catching monster tuna; from that moment on Zenaq has developed Big Game rods with the same passion! Thanks to the evolution of equipment, such as lines and hooks, fishing for tuna over 200kg has become realistic. Hence the MONSTER BUSTER project was born, which led to the release of this new Tobizo TC77 TUNA "Monster Buster". The use of top-quality materials has led Zenaq to be able to develop a tool capable of both easily casting a 100 gram lure over a long distance and fighting giant fish with as little effort as possible. This was the biggest challenge won by Zenaq after 5 years of design and testing!

MONSTER BLANK
The DBL (Deep Bias Layered Structure) (PAT.P) provides incredible durability capable of withstanding the max drag of big reels with a high angle of 65 degrees. It has a flexible core that allows the angler to bend the rod tightly, and the more you bend it, the more power and repulsion it generates. Even in a fight with a giant that exceeds its limits, the rod resists and rises with strength, assisting the fisherman to the maximum. The 7'7" length maximizes casting, lure handling and fighting performance. The flexible blank allows you to cast even light lures with extreme precision. This is a great advantage for Tuna Spinning. To face a giant Tuna that surpasses the limits of humans, it must be a blank you can absolutely trust.

GUIDES SETTING
The guide setting has been designed for the use of big reels, from 20000 and up, and PE greater than #12. Additionally, the shape and placement of the guides greatly eliminates PE tangles at the tip, eliminating the usual line issues, allowing for smooth line removal, for long, stable casts.

HEXAGONAL RUBBER GRIP (PAT.P)
The front grip design is extremely important for long fights against giant tuna. Zenaq's classic EVA hexagonal grip, essential for Big Game rods, has been modeled with rubber material for maximum fighting power. The Japanese tortoise shell pattern on the surface ensures an even stronger grip. The rubber used does not hydrolyse or deteriorate over time, even after many years of use and, furthermore, it does not become sticky and does not alter its original structure.

METAL REEL SEAT
The load on the reel seat when fighting a giant over 200kg is beyond imagination. Therefore a sturdy metal reel seat was used which allows the fisherman to concentrate all his attention on the fight. Additionally, a rubber cushion has been used on the mounting surface of the reel to suppress reel noise. In this way, it reduces the angler's stress during fighting and repeated casting.

METAL GIMBAL + RUBBER END
The rod end features a combination of metal gimbal and rubber end. Use the rubber end for fighting styles that do not require the use of a gimbal, while you can remove the rubber end and use the metal gimbal when using the gimbal. In this you can adapt two fighting styles of the prey.
