Tobizo Type R

Zenaq's Tobizo Type R is the new "Type R" version of the famous Tobizo! This new model inherits the "RACING" concept to always remain at the forefront, breaking down stereotypes and constantly challenging oneself. It's characterized by the particular "Hexagon Reel Seat", the new original Zenaq reel seat, the "Hexagon Grip" handle and a redesigned ringing system.

Exclusive reel seat that guarantees 4 advantages

Advantage.01 - Toray Industry's long and strong TORAYCA® carbon fibers, composed with a special molding machine, guarantee a robust structure. Even big reels can be held firmly, without wobbling;

Advantage.02 - The surface of the structure is covered with a special rubber to create a greater and new sensation of comfort in the hands;

Advantage.03 - Like the hexagonal handle, the reel seat is also hexagonal shaped to suppress left/right reel rattling and transmit power. This allows you to preserve hand strength and increase the likelihood of catching a big fish;

Advantage.04 - A rubber cushion has been inserted in the support area of the reel foot. This prevents the reel from loosening even if it's not tightened tightly and prevents the reel from vibrating even during heavy fishing, so that rod and reel are perfectly integrated!

The redesigned guide system features the T-RVSG40 as a larger guide to ensure smooth line release on large, thick line reels. In the tip section it's equipped with the original Zenaq guide system, to minimize line problems.

The single wrapped guides do not interfere with the action of the rod and generate an action that feels closer to the original blank design, as if there were no guides. They aim for a precise rod action and a precise feel of the oscillations.
