Y Knotter

YGK’s Y Knotter is the perfect knotter to do FG! Ultra thin nyon and fluorcarbon can be used; in fact you can tie knots also with Japanese size PE0.2 (0.074mm) and nylon/fluorocarbon of size 0.8 (0.148mm). Every braid diameter can be used(PE), while the maximum of nylon/fluorocarbon usable is the size 12 (0.57mm). It has an innovative mechanical system, which in few minutes allows to produce a perfect knot! For the production of the body, high level materials have been used, all resistant to impact.

Here you can finf the steps to follow:
1 - Open Y-Knotter, put inside the braids (PE), before in the left side and then going up, and then in the right side, going down. You should take circa 30 centimeter of braid. Close the Y-Knotter and hangp the two ends of the braids in the lower part where there's a small wheel;
2 - Open the 4 grey flaps;
3 - Put inside the nylon/fluorocarbon in the specific hole and let it run until it comes out from the other side. Clasp the nylon/fluorocarbon like in the video. Clasp out the braids and stop it like in the video;
4 - Close the 4 grey flaps;
5 - Take the fluorocarbon/nylon and stop in the specific washer;
6 - Take the braid, stop it (like in the video at the minute 2:56) and start to move it (like in the video from minute 3:22). After some movement it will start to see that the knot it’s running;
7 - Throw well the two ends of the braids and start to take out the knot form Y-Knotter;
8 - Stop the opposite ends of nylon/fluorocarbon with thumb of the left hand, move slightly the braids and stop nylon/fluorocarbon and braids in the specific washer. Stop the washer. Starting to close the knot with some small knots. End the knot with 5/6 small knots on both the line, and with 4/5 small knots only on the braids.
