Zodias Casting 2020

Shimano's Zodias Casting 2020 represents the baitcasting reel version of this new series of extremely versatile rods. The main news is the "Carbon Monocoque Grip", which further increases sensitivity and allows for direct contact with the bottom. This new version of Zodias, tested in the United States and Japan and, already from the previous series, known all over the world, has further improved its sensitivity. The newly developed light and thin structure and the powerful blanks adopt the carbon monocoque structure which has so far been used only in the higher level models. It allows you to quickly detect changes in the bottom and vibrations transmitted by fish and transmit them clearly as an electrical signal. The "Carbon Monocoque Grip" consists of a monocoque carbon handle, an empty structure that generates a 130% higher sensitivity than traditional models and realistically transmits vibrations under water! This innovative system featuring the new Zodias has acquired unprecedented lightness, combining excellent functions and design. The blank is produced with the famous structure called Hi-Power X which reinforces the blank and reduces the torsion that occurs during the cast and the fight. During the cast, the tip is prevented from twisting and is directed at the point where the bait was cast, and its strong tension increases the chances of hooking and helps fight the prey. The guides are Fuji K series with Alconite rings and SiC top. The light and highly sensitive reel seat allows a better grip and extreme comfort.
